You Are Exactly What You Think You Are

“As you think, so shall you be.”

This is a HUGE part of what I stand for because it’s so simple, yet so powerful.

Everything in this life starts off as just a “thought”. A tiny, insignificant thought, that we as humans seriously overlook.

Why? Because our thoughts are our REALITY.

Whatever we think to be true, is 100% true in our own respect.

If you think like a loser, you will be a loser.*

If you think that you’ll never be able to achieve your dreams, you are 100% correct.*

If you think that you will never have a happy life, you probably won’t have a happy life. *

But on the opposite end of things…

If you think that you can achieve anything in this life, you are absolute correct.**

If you think that you will one day be rich, you will be rich one day.**

If you think you are confident, you will be confident.

I believe we as humans like to over-complicate the simplest of things, such as thoughts.

If used properly, out thoughts can be our best friend.

If used incorrectly, you can find yourself in deep, dark places because of your THOUGHTS.

Understand that your thoughts are more powerful than you truly think.

Learn how to use your thoughts properly and you will be a force to be reckoned with…

*You can learn how to change your thoughts into something positive and turn a loser mentality into something much more than just that.

**With the right mixture of action, passion and drive.

It’s the little things…It’s your thoughts.

Don’t Let The Noise Get To You

Snipe comments left and right.

Saying this, saying that.

Making fun of you and where you are at in your own personal process…

Don’t let this noise get to you…KEEP GOING.

People will ALWAYS have something to say about you. No matter how well you are doing, it will be something that is apart of the process of creating your life.

Don’t let the negativity, ego or insecurities of others get you discouraged.

Maintain focus on what is important to you and continue striving for your goals and dreams.

Be kind to yourself, rather than looking at yourself as a mess, look at yourself as a work in progress.

You got this.

Don’t Lie To Yourself

You can have any life you so choose, but don’t lie to yourself.

“Man, I’d do anything to have a Ferrari.”

“That woman must be so lucky to have a house like that.”

“That guy must be living the life, look at all the money he has.”

In my eyes, I have no acknowledgeable success yet, but one thing I do understand is that “the life” people “so badly” want, isn’t for them…

Not because they are bad people or they aren’t worthy of a life filled with abundance, but because their ACTIONS aren’t backing up their mouth.

SO many people claim that they want it so bad…

They claim that they’ll do ANYTHING to make their dreams come true…

They claim that they’ll do ANYTHING to provide for their family…

But in reality…ALL they do is CLAIM…

When you take a deeper look as to what they are actually doing, it doesn’t align.

I used to be that guy, saying that I wanted a life filled with abundance, be the best soccer player America has ever seen and have a life that people could be inspired by.

But I wasn’t taking enough action to match my ambitions.

People in around me saw me working hard, but I knew that I could be doing more.

I knew that not only could I be doing more, I NEEDED to be doing more.

Something I now live by is the idea that:

“You can lie to the ones around you, but you CANNOT lie to the person in the mirror”

Looking back at the person I once was makes me realize how much time I have truly wasted. I’m not disappointed in myself because everything has happened exactly the way it was supposed to, but it has given me a bit more drive and motivation to continue striving and questioning myself.

Whenever I ask myself, “Could I be doing more?” The answer is ALWAYS yes.

“The life” isn’t for everyone because most aren’t willing to make the sacrifices necessary, take the correct action or ask the hard questions they know the answers to.

DON’T wait and make the same mistake I did.

Learn and ask yourself:

“Could I be doing more?”

Because you and I both know you can be, and if the life you want is TRULY worth it, you will take the correct actions to make it happen.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Means a lot to me knowing it wasn’t for nothing.

You Decide

At the end of the day, it is up to you.

It is up to you on how you decide to spend your time, your money, your energy, and as a whole, your life.

Many people place blame onto others as to why they are unable to do what they want in this life. They pose as this victim by creating every excuse in the book as to why it simply can’t be done for them. Reasons why they are unable to get fit, to make money, to create a life of their own…anything that they are unable to do. This type of person will always find problems with what needs to be done.

Hold yourself accountable rather passing the blame. The decision is yours because it is your life, not theirs.

Another issue people tend to face is the opinions of others.

Many believe to be held hostage by the opinions of the ones around them and that these people are the ones to blame for their personal misfortune.

The only thing that matters in this life is the belief and support you have FOR YOURSELF. By believing the opinions of others it allows them to have some sort of control over your decisions.

The idea that someone else made you do something is such a chicken sh*t excuse.

Rather than letting your family members, friends, or anyone in that matter, make you feel less of yourself or influence your decisions, you need to look in the mirror first.

It is NOT them making you feel this way, it is because of YOUR vision of YOURSELF.

  • Don’t believe in yourself
  • Are thinking negatively about yourself
  • See the truth in the negative opinions of others
  • Believe that there is someone else to blame

It is okay because you CAN change for the better.

Look introvertedly as to why your problems arise and fix the issues.

Change your mentality to see life in a totally different light, where you are the creator rather than the victim.

Aren’t you tired of feeling as if you are at someone else’s mercy?

At the end of the day, your life is one decision away from being extraordinary or mediocre.

Who do you want to make that decision?

You have more of an influence than you think

Imagine being in charge of the world and where it was heading.

Being that one person where your actions and choices heavily influence the direction of where humanity was heading.

That would be a lot of responsibility, right?

In reality, we as individuals have that power to change where humanity is heading. In a smaller, more personal scale of course, but through the idea that our actions and our choices NOW not only affect us, but they will affect the generations that come after us.

Now picture this, a world where individually we considered the repercussions of our actions and weren’t ignorant to the negative consequences to follow.

We as humans understood that overconsumption and holes in the ozone layer were an issue. BACK. IN. 1992. Now it is 27 years later and we are facing the consequences of an ignorant past generation. The Earth has many more scientific problems that weren’t even thought to be possible at one point, an ocean that is flooded with pollution and dying ecosystems, and a LOT of people just waiting for someone else to take care of it.

The past generations knew that these issues were going to continue to grow, but left it up to someone else to deal with. Instead of realizing that we as individuals have more of an impact than we truly think.

Now, we are at a point where there is almost no chance of returning to the healthy planet that we once knew or a society where everyone is understanding of the issues the Earth is actually facing.

When are we as individuals going to stop being ignorant to the idea that we are the ones that are capable of changing the world?

With that being said, I believe that we need to be thinking in the mindset of:

“What I do now, may influence a generation. Will that influence be positive or negative?”

  • When you throw that piece of trash on the ground. Positive or Negative?
  • You driving drunk and put yourself and others in danger. Positive or Negative?
  • Doing drugs. Positive or Negative influence?
  • Believing that you picking up that “one piece of trash in the parking lot” WILL make a difference. Positive or Negative?
  • You and a few buddies picking up a bag full of trash off the beach and disposing of it properly. Positive or Negative?

Your own kids, your nieces, your nephews, your grandkids, your great-great-great grandkids are going to have to bear with the consequences of the actions you make now.

Will they be a positive or a negative one?

You decide.

Your family, and humanity, needs you.

This life is NOT random

Life works in crazy ways, but in reality, everything that happens, happens for a reason.

Every little detail in your life is meant to be.

Your actions and the misfortunes that happen along the way are the puzzle pieces that are making up your beautiful masterpiece of a life. Every last one of them are deliberate and purposeful, creating you into the artwork that you truly are.

Be patient and realize that your life is more meaningful that you perceive it to be.

You are here to for a reason and that reason is to leave your legacy for the upcoming generations to see. Never let your current situation cause you to lose sight of the end goal.

Get up, brush yourself off, and realize that this life is NOT random.

Stop and smell the roses

As life goes on, you may find yourself focusing on a big goal, or dream, that is blinding you. Blinding you from what is in front of you in this very moment.

The great people and family you have around you.

The happiness that is flowing through you.

The blessings that are raining down on you.

Take a second to realize how truly amazing it is to be alive in this time and just breathe. Take it all in. Don’t let any small detail in your life go unnoticed. The “big” is the end goal or dream. The “small” is what will get you there and keep you happy and motivated along the way.

It’s the little things.
